Sometimes you wonder how people can be 'brain-dead'. A little harsh usage for a human being
perhaps, but when we think about how Darwin's theory of evolution brought about the
existence of human species, you start expecting people to be a little more intelligent
than their 'weaker' counterparts in the animal kingdom.
There are only 3 words to sum it all up - 'The Bulldog Attitude'. Darwin's theory is right - To ensure that you are better than your human kinsmen, you have to constantly strife and be the best you can be.
And for that to happen, you have got to have a thick skin. PERIOD. Because when you are
surging ahead in life, with the share of supporters you have, you will have a good share
of detractors who will condemn you every step of the way. They will question your integrity,
they will question your actions & find fault in everything around them. That is when your attitude is tested, because it is what you do in the troughs of life that determines what you are going to be the rest of your life. Have you seen a bulldog ? Do you know the particular behaviour of this dog? When a bulldog bites into anything, it never lets go. So God forbid, you get into a duel with a bulldog, you will be running and onlookers can see a bulldog tagging along the back of your jeans. This is what I mean. When you do anything different in life, you are bound to have setbacks and difficulties. Are you like a bulldog then and fight back? Or are you a little puppy fleeing with his tail between his legs ? Your call.
And yes, talking about the detractors now... They are what you call 'The Weaklings'. Some studies I have made in the past few years made me conclude that this particular sect of people do not have what doctors say a 'spine' . But yes, they have a big mouth.
These weaklings will die eventually - not literally, but in spirit. Is there anything worse in life than look back when you are 70 years old, and regret you did not do what you could do when you were capable to do to better your life, your future?
Think about it...
